A small studio that turned down being a big one
Studioviq stayed intentionally lean so every project gets senior attention, not a rotating cast of juniors learning on the client's dime.
From a two-person studio to an integrated agency
Studioviq started in Toronto in 2015 as a two-person design studio taking on brand identity projects for local businesses. As clients started asking for help with their websites, then their marketing, we built out the capability in-house rather than farming it out — which is still how we operate today.
We've stayed deliberately mid-sized. Big enough to run a full-funnel engagement, small enough that the people who pitch a project are the people who deliver it.
Mission & vision
Two statements that shape every project brief we write.
Build brands that earn attention honestly
We help ambitious Canadian companies grow through work that's strategically sound and creatively distinct, without relying on hype or manipulation to get results.
Set the standard for accountable agency work
We want to be the agency other agencies point to when clients ask what transparent reporting and honest scoping should look like.
Core values that guide our work
Craft over speed
We'd rather ship a week later and get the details right.
Transparent reporting
Clients see the same dashboards we do, including when something underperforms.
Senior-led delivery
No handoffs to junior staff you've never met.
Evidence over opinion
Design and strategy decisions are backed by research, not personal taste.
Leadership philosophy
Our creative directors stay on every account from pitch to delivery — leadership here means being in the work, not just reviewing it at milestones.
